Vernon Park's, Nina Dearman has been selected by Team GB to represent Great Britain at the World Student Games in Belgrade, Serbia alongside Beth Tweddle(World & European Bars Champion). The full team which will travel to Serbia on 28th June, is

The World Student Games starts with the team qualifying competition on 2nd July, from which the top 24 in the world will be selected for the individual competition and the top eight on each apparatus will be selected for the Apparatus finals competition.

Nina is over the moon with her selection and is looking forward to receiving her GB tracksuit and leotard and proudly representing her country. The team will compete with the best in the world with the top teams descending on Belgrade from the USA, China, Russia, Romania and many many others.

This is history in the making for Vernon Park, after 15 years in the sport Nina has eventually made it to the top, she has already represented England at major Internationals, twice won the England senior title, and produced medals at the British Championships, but the GB status has always eluded her, until now.
